Description

A fixed normalization of the entropy function (see references)

Usage

VCI(z, zmax, by = 1)

Arguments

z

vector of z coordinates

zmax

numeric. Used to turn the function entropy to the function vci.

Run this code
# NOT RUN {
z <- runif(10000, 0, 10)

VCI(z, by = 1, zmax = 20)

z <- abs(rnorm(10000, 10, 1))

# expected to be closer to 0.
VCI(z, by = 1, zmax = 20)
