dtr: Diurnal temperature range

Description

Mean difference between TX and TN.

Usage

dtr(tmax, tmin, data_names = NULL, time.scale = YEAR, na.rm = FALSE)

Arguments

tmax

maximum temperature

tmin

minimum temperature

data_names

names of each period of time

time.scale

month, season or year

na.rm

logical. Should missing values (including NaN) be removed?

Value

Diurnal temperature range

Formula

$$DTR_j = \frac{ \sum_{ i = 1 } ^ { I } ( TX_{ ij } - TN_{ ij })} {I}$$
