This function extracts the Jacobian determinant map associated with a
deformation field.

Provides an 'R' interface to the 'NiftyReg' image registration tools
<https://github.com/KCL-BMEIS/niftyreg>. Linear and nonlinear registration
are supported, in two and three dimensions.
