cor: Generic function for the correlation

Description

This function compute the symbolic correlation

Usage

cor(x, ...)

# S3 method for default cor( x, y = NULL, use = "everything", method = c("pearson", "kendall", "spearman"), ... )

# S3 method for symbolic_interval cor(x, y, method = c("centers", "billard"), ...)

# S3 method for symbolic_tbl cor(x, ...)

Value

Return a real number in [-1,1].

Arguments

x

A symbolic variable.

...

As in R cor function.

y

A symbolic variable.

use

An optional character string giving a method for computing covariances in the presence of missing values. This must be (an abbreviation of) one of the strings 'everything', 'all.obs', 'complete.obs', 'na.or.complete', or 'pairwise.complete.obs'.

method

The method to be use.
