chk_not_empty: Check Not Empty

Description

Checks if not empty using

length(x) != 0L

Pass: 1, 1:2, NA, matrix(1:3), list(1), data.frame(x = 1).

Fail: NULL, logical(0), list(), data.frame().

Usage

chk_not_empty(x, x_name = NULL)

vld_not_empty(x)

Value

The chk_ function throws an informative error if the test fails or returns the original object if successful so it can used in pipes.

The vld_ function returns a flag indicating whether the test was met.

Arguments

x

The object to check.

x_name

A string of the name of object x or NULL.
