dummy_ddf

Create a detection function object for strip/plot surveys for use in density
surface models.

Density surface modelling of line transect data. A Generalized
Additive Model-based approach is used to calculate spatially-explicit estimates
of animal abundance from distance sampling (also presence/absence and strip
transect) data. Several utility functions are provided for model checking,
plotting and variance estimation.

dummy_ddf function

<dl><dt>object</dt>
<dd>numeric vector of object identifiers, relating to the <code>object</code>
field in the observation data of the DSM.</dd>
<dt>size</dt>
<dd>group size for each observation (default all groups size 1)</dd>
<dt>width</dt>
<dd>right truncation</dd>
<dt>left</dt>
<dd>left truncation (default 0, no left truncation)</dd>
