Description
The Number-Right Score (NRS) function calculates the weighted sum of correct
responses for each examinee. This function is applicable only to binary
response data.
For each examinee, the score is computed as:
$$NRS_i = \sum_{j=1}^J z_{ij}u_{ij}w_j$$
where:
\(z_{ij}\) is the missing response indicator (0/1)
\(u_{ij}\) is the response (0/1)
\(w_j\) is the item weight
Usage
nrs(U, na = NULL, Z = NULL, w = NULL, ...)
Value
A numeric vector containing the Number-Right Score for each examinee.
The score represents the weighted sum of correct answers, where:
Arguments
- U
U is a data matrix of the type matrix or data.frame.
- na
na argument specifies the numbers or characters to be treated as missing values.
- Z
Z is a missing indicator matrix of the type matrix or data.frame
- w
w is item weight vector
- ...
Internal parameters for maintaining compatibility with the binary data
processing system. Not intended for direct use.
