and numeric vectors index by position; use a list to index by position
and name at different levels. Within a list, wrap strings in <code><a rd-options="=get-attr" href="/link/get-attr()?package=fable&version=0.0.0.9000&to=%3Dget-attr" data-mini-rdoc="=get-attr::get-attr()">get-attr()</a></code>
to extract named attributes. If a component is not present, the value of
<code>.default</code> will be returned.
