fclust (version 2.1.1.1)

MPC: Modified partition coefficient

Description

Produces the modified partition coefficient index. The optimal number of clusters k is such that the index takes the maximum value.

Usage

MPC (U)

Value

mpc

Value of the modified partition coefficient index

Arguments

U

Membership degree matrix
