additional, optional arguments.  None are
  used at present.

The generator objects for the <code><links4class>golden</links4class></code>
  class of a scalar optimizer for a parameter within an
  interval.  The optimizer uses reverse communications.

classes

Fit linear and generalized linear mixed-effects models.
    The models and their components are represented using S4 classes and
    methods.  The core computational algorithms are implemented using the
    Eigen C++ library for numerical linear algebra and RcppEigen "glue".

golden: Generator object for the golden search optimizer class.
