ore_escape

ore.escape

Escape characters that would usually be interpreted specially in a regular
expression, returning a modified version of the argument. This can be
useful when incorporating a general-purpose string into a larger regex.

Provides an alternative to R's built-in functionality for handling
regular expressions, based on the Onigmo library. Offers first-class
compiled regex objects, partial matching and function-based substitutions,
amongst other features.
