<code>lpochhammer</code> returns the value of the natural logarithm of Pochhammer's symbol
 calculated as 
$$\ln \left[ {\left( z \right)_n } \right] = \ln \Gamma \left( {z + n} \right) - \ln \Gamma \left( z \right)$$
where $ \Gamma \left( z \right) $ is the Gamma function
