Pycnophylactic Interpolation

Description

Given a SpatialPolygonsDataFrame and a set of populations for each polygon, compute a population density estimate based on Tobler's pycnophylactic interpolation algorithm. The result is a SpatialGridDataFrame. Methods are described in Tobler Waldo R. (1979) .
